Valerie Elijah joined the Radio One/Dayton staff as Community Relations Director in June of 2004. She brings with her a wealth of experience in broadcasting and communications. While attending the University of Dayton, she was an announcer at WVUD Radio. After graduating, she went on to Channel 2 as Assistant Community Services Director where she created and hosted a thirty-minute television program called Dialogue. At Channel 22, she produced and hosted Dayton Today, a local public affairs program. At WROU Radio, she produced and hosted Focus on U for seven years.
